WHY YOU SHOULD OPT FOR A HANDHELD READER?

CBEC has mandated that all ports are to convert to E-Sealing, however, if there is a defect in the linking procedure, the seal is invalid and cannot be re-sealed at the port. The Exporter has to either take back the container to the Sealing Location (which incurs transport costs 3 times) or to pass it through the RMS which is a heavy burden of cost to reseal through the CFS. We suggest regular exporters to invest in a Hand-held reader, so as to check tag & linking validity at seal location before sending the shipment to the port and be assured their containers will be cleared.
